Tropical North Queensland Institute of TAFE campuses boast state-of-the-art teaching, conference and function facilities and the latest audiovisual communications technology. These can be hired for meetings, seminars, conferences, events and training.
Facilities include:
Theatrette
A 125-seat lecture theatre complete with overhead video/computer display screen at the Cairns campus
Videoconference sites
Access almost 50 centres across Queensland from videoconference sites at the Cairns, Innisfail, Mossman, Mareeba, Atherton, Innisfail and Thursday Island campuses
Tropics and Queenslander restaurants
Award-winning Cairns campus restaurants catering for gatherings large and small, from finger food to fine dining (subject to availability of students)
Banggu Minjaany Arts and Cultural Centre
The centre of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander studies in Cairns houses a 200-seat indoor theatre, a 1000-seat outdoor amphitheatre and an art gallery
